Accessories I use and what you`ll need for maintenance.
Welcome to the Accessories section a curated list of the essential gear I personally use to maintain, clean, and work on my motorcycles.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a full-time DIY enthusiast, having the right accessories in your garage or workshop makes all the difference. From lifting your bike safely to keeping your workspace clean and damage-free, these tools help you work smarter and protect your motorcycle investment.
Here you’ll find everything I rely on regularly.
These are the accessories I’ve tested and trust. No fluff just functional, durable gear that makes motorcycle maintenance easier and more enjoyable.
1. Motorcycle Stand
For my 2024 Yamaha R125, I use a universal rear stand that lifts the motorcycle via swing arm spools. It’s ideal for washing the bike, cleaning the chain, general maintenance, or simply for storing the motorcycle.
💡 Tip: Make sure you get the correct adapters.
Cost: €40-€70
2. Front Lift
This is another universal tool a foldable front motorcycle stand that lifts from the steering neck. It came with five adapters, so I can use it on almost all of my motorcycles.
💡 Tip: Highly recommended.
Cost: €70-€90
3. Single-Sided Swing arm Stand
This stand is specifically designed for motorcycles with a single-sided swing arm, like some Ducatis and most MV Agustas.
💡 Tip: Be sure to get the correct adapter for your model.
Cost: €70-€90
4. Rubber Mats
I use two rubber mats (1.5m x 3m each) daily. They prevent tires from sticking to hot concrete in summer and are also great for placing parts on without worrying about scratches.
Cost: €70-€90
5. Carpets
Carpets are a great option for storing and displaying a freshly washed motorcycle. I wash my bikes at least once a week, and the carpets generously sent to me by Motozem are perfect for that purpose
Cost: €45
6. Compact Blower
This tool is perfect for removing water from hard-to-reach spots after washing the motorcycle. I don’t recommend using it to completely dry the bike, as it can leave mineral stains from the water. Just use it to blow off the excess moisture.
Cost: €50
