I Tested All-Season Street Racer Jacket by Motozem.

I recently got hold of the Street Racer All Season kit from MotoZem and put it through its paces in real-winter conditions here in Slovakia. As someone who rides, films, and records motorcycles all year round, I wanted to know: can this gear actually stand up to cold, wet, unpredictable weather and the demands of a street-racer style setup?

Spoiler: Yes.

What was tested

  1. Jacket: the Street Racer All Season jacket:

    • 100 % polyester outer shell, mesh inner lining.

    • Removable waterproof membrane and detachable thermo-insert.

    • CE Level 2 protectors on shoulders & elbows, and prep for a back protector.

    • Air-cooling system on shoulders/back for ventilation.

    • Certified to EN 17092-4:2020 for motorcycle apparel.

  2. Under-Layers: While the MotoZem/Street Racer site doesn’t list a deep detailed spec of the under-layers in the same way, the Instagram posts from MotoZem show that the “All Season” setup includes matching thermal/under-layer gear.

  3. Pants / Lower Layer Pairing: The jacket was tested as part of a full “All Season” suit notion, meaning the pants from the same line (Street Racer All Season) were part of the setup (so the thermal under-layers + jacket + pants) to create a full system.

How I Tested It

  • I wore the jacket + under-layer + pants on multiple rides during the testing days temps ranging from about +10 °C down toward close to 7 °C.

  • I also did stationary tests (standing still with bike idling, letting wind hit me) to simulate cold waiting, and in wet conditions (was saoked by hose for 5 minutes) to test the waterproof membrane.

  • I filmed the ride from inside: observing thermal comfort (body temperature), ventilation (when I zipped vents) and practicality of using it while filming (movement, pockets, camera rig compatibility).

My Findings – Pros

  • The jacket’s thermo insert + waterproof membrane really helped when temps dropped and rain began. I stayed comfortable without excessive layering.

  • The ventilation system is great for warmer days.

  • The fit and style: the street-racer aesthetic works well and the jacket actually looks pretty cool.

  • The under-layer pairing is smart: once I added a good technical base layer (underneath) it complemented the jacket well meaning the system works for “all season”.

  • Safety features: EN certification + protectors give confidence for daily use, not just light casual rides.

My Recommendation

If you’re riding in Slovakia, from spring through autumn and into winter (cold but not extreme alpine sub-zero), the Street Racer All Season jacket + matching under-layers is a solid choice. For you, especially as someone filming reviews and moving gear around: it gives good versatility, decent weather resistance, and a smart style.

If your winter riding is heavy (daily sub-zero, lots of stop/start, long highway periods with wind), pair the jacket with a thicker base layer and consider heated grips or a heavier jacket for those worst days.

Pairing the jacket with the full “system” (under-layer + pants from the line) maximises its potential.

Final Thoughts

The “all-season” term gets thrown around a lot but in this case, with the Street Racer system from MotoZem, it really does deliver for the majority of seasons. The smart membrane + thermo insert + ventilation make it adaptable.

Would I buy it for myself? Yes.
